How to do a Simple Search

To proceed with a search on the "Poirier" family name:

1. Select one or several territories in which you want to search by clicking on the corresponding flag. By default, the sources gathered under these flags will all be queried; if you want to query a specific source, click on the Sources tab and uncheck the box of the ones that do not interest you.
   
   
2. Write "Poirier" in the search field (white rectangle).
   
   
3. Click on Search on the right hand side of the field or press Enter on your keyboard.
   
   
4. The results will be displayed under the white rectangle.
   
   
   1. On the left-hand side of the page, press on Refresh to see all the sources (databases) in which results for the "Poirier" last name are located.
   2. On the right-hand side of the page, results are displayed by order of arrival. You can sort them by title (alphabetical order from A to Z) by clicking on Title or by relevance ranking (from the most to the least relevant result) by clicking on Score.
      
      
5. If you want to see the results from a single source (database), click on the name of that source on the left-hand side of the page; the corresponding results will then be displayed.
